Quoting full truck load

Hi all, looking for help with something I haven't done before. I've been tasked to get with pricing out full truck load pricing to several distribution centers from our manufacturing facility. We use Unishippers for our LTL which has gone pretty well but I am not sure how to best approach working on FTL pricing. Unishippers has FTL options but are there better options with better rates? Is it best to go directly to the freight carriers for quotes? Thanks!
