I am doing a case study on whether to pursue a merger, acquisition or strategic partnership or remain as competitors.
Letβs say that one company has developed patented and proprietary technology that transforms abrasive noises into calming music through its tiny microchips. Another company has been discovered with very similar product.
Should these two companies form a merger, acquisition, strategic partnership or remain as competitors? I do know pros and cons but given limited details, any ideas on the thought process?
