I have an opportunity to potentially become a reseller for vapes.
I get that it is not so much an independent business.
However, I own a newsagent and it currently does very well. Right now disposables are booming in the UK and everyone wants in. Anyone can sell them, its not regulated, and you can turn a very decent profit from them.
I know a distributor who I have probably given 200k this year in purchase orders. We have a good relationship.
He offered to resell through my own company and gave me a wholesale rate for the vapes. The rate is pretty amazing. I could essentially compete with his prices.
To get that same rate I would have to put up 400,000 a month to a distributor.
However, its a competitive world out there and I could take a lot of business around me however I know people who be offering a similar price and I am late to the party.
Additionally, I could maybe only take 1-10% profit of whatever I earn. I feel as though getting to the 500,000 a year mark would be relatively easy. But at a 1% profit there is really no point. 10% fair enough.
I am not sure if starting this business would be viable with such a low margin, or even if there would be interest in my services at a higher rate price.
