Would a higher GRE score offset a lower GPA?
Post Body

I am taking the GRE in 1 week and I have scored an average of 162V and 152Q on practice tests. My GPA is only 3.3 and I'm worried that these scores (assuming I do that well on the actual test) won't be enough to offset my GPA. Would it be worth it to postpone the test to the end of October so that I can try and increase my score between now and then? I'm applying to 10 less competitive schools (most of which have not waived the GRE, btw) and the other aspects of my application are pretty good.
