Senior player here, I play weekly with a bunch of old codgers; we don't run very fast but we have fun and take it seriously. Anyway I've been working out all off season and find myself in pretty good shape. I want to improve my hitting so I visited YouTube and the interweb. Read somewhere that you can practice your swing with a hammer. I live in the Northeast where it's still chilly and just last week there was snow on the ground, so nobody's out at the park yet. I found a nice old hammer in my closet that weighs exactly 28 Oz and the weight distribution feels about right for a bat. So I've been taking a million swings everyday in my living room with my hammer. Anyone else swing a hammer in their living room?
