I'm planning on making a beef stew using leftover beef (stored in leftover gravy yum). The recipe I have uses about double the weight of beef I have and is for fresh so has a 9 hour cooking time on low. Do I need to adjust the timings when the beef is already cooked and theres not as much of it? Thinking more like 6 hours to still give enough vegetable softening and flavour infusing time?
I did try and search past posts but couldn't see if this has been asked before and struggling to find online slow cooker recipes to compare. Though I did find one which had the 6 hour time.
