My first ever pressure cooker arrived this weekend. First try was beans (didn't go so well, had a little burn) second attempt was rice (came out reeeealy well) and then I tried chicken. The chicken is so good. The chicken is seriously so good, wtf. I did a preliminary cooking of the drumsticks on the fry setting, just to make sure it was completely thawed, then I left it to cook overnight for 8 hours retaining pressure. It let out a lot of water, so I used the chicken setting with releasing pressure, and it dried out all the water and left this minimal thick juicy "gravy" in the bottom of the pan. Thank you everyone who encouraged me to do the drumsticks. I was planning on putting them in the oven and it wouldn't be anywhere as tasty as this. Bonus pic of the rice (with vegetables, sticky is king and I don't want any complaints about it! 😂)
