I was craving a roast and a way to make my meals stretch farther with costs rising so much. I bought a crockpot and made a pot roast threw the meat, potato’s, carrots celery and a bunch seasoning and cooked it for 7 hours and WOW. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy one!
It’s 40 degrees here right now so I imagine, fall and winter weather is making people crave some pot roast
A Chuck roast from Aldi. I bought the roast, celery, and mini potatoes for 18 dollars!
I’m looking forward to it, I think I was put off for a while because the recipes found on google seemed mundane but I’m hoping to find some great recipes on here and create my own too
That’s genius, where do you find your recipes?
I used some chicken stock too but only a little bit. I seasoned it with garam masala, curry power, fenugreek seeds and leaves, thyme, cardamom pods, bay leaves, salt and pepper. I added 2 cloves of garlic and 1 onion too which I didn’t include in my post.
