Making a slow cooker split pea soup and want to use pork tenderloin instead of ham. Looking for advice.
Post Body

The split pea soup takes 4.5 hours. I have some tenderloin I need to consume so I figured I’d bring them together, but I’m wondering if I should add the pork later in the cooking time so it doesn’t get chewy.
