Band set material/thickness recommendation

I run a torque from simple shot, and i am running the black rubber from simple shot as well (i forget the thickness). What band material/thickness do you use, and why?

My favorite to shoot is the 0.5 simple shot black bandsets but I primarily shoot the 0.7 with 8mm steel because they last a lot longer.
I'm using an Axiom Ocularis and I mostly shoot instinctive.
