I've seen it mentioned in some old threads, that Slide uses a library which by default only provides RGB_565 decoding.
This produces some very undesirable results on images which use gradients.
This mode only seems to be active when browsing (scrolling) through the feed, and actually viewing the image.
Notice the banding in the wall on the right, and the subject's left arm is especially bad, but non-existant in the cropped view in the comments.
Peek view also produces the banding effect.
Data saving is disabled.
Couldn't we get an option to use full RGB_888 (or RGBA_8888) in every view? 565 is fine for most photos, but often completely ruins digital art.
