My almost 11 week old baby absolutely will not nap for longer than maybe 10 minutes in the bassinet. So we contact nap.
Is he going to outgrow this aversion to the bassinet? He goes down fine at night for maybe 3-4 hours and then it's a coin toss if he needs contact sleep after that.
It's starting to take a toll on my health both mental and physical. I'm unable to sleep while he sleeps and I'm sitting for long periods of the day. I realize I could try the carrier but really I just need to nap while he does so I'm refreshed to keep going with him throughout the day.
So do I need to do some sort of training or is it just because he's little still?
