Help, I'm desperate.

How do I get my 6 week old to sleep in the bassinet so I can get some sleep? He has symptoms of reflux (not diagnosed) so he is extremely uncomfortable on his back. And yet (knock on wood) he sleeps for a 2.5hr stretch at night in there. The rest of the time he sleeps on my chest and I'm awake. I can't take it anymore.
