Hello! I need help with my four month old. I’ve been trying to sleep train her for two weeks but nothing will work.

I initially tried extinction, but she cried for hours and hours without pause the first few nights, so I abandoned that for Ferber method.

That hasn’t worked either.

She will just continue to cry at the check ins unless I put her on my boob. Even a minute or two and she’ll fall back asleep, but if I don’t do that, she will cry until morning.

Any suggestions on an alternate method of sleep training? I’ve tried pacifiers, shushing, but nothing else works. Even picking her up doesn’t help once she cries for a few minutes, she is just too upset to calm down without the boob.

My leave is up in two weeks and I am going back to a very demanding work environment.
