Hi everyone! Wanted to thank everyone for the advice last week! I was the one with the 7 month old waking every 1.5 hours and nursing to sleep. We've been sleep training (CIO) for a whole week and I'm happy to say it's going very well. Here's a summary of each night.

Monday: I was super nervous. I literally thought she'd cry over an hour. My husband and I agreed 2 hours was our max. We put her down for the night at 7:30. Our night time routine is nurse, diaper change, pijamas, vitamin d drops, and read a book. I was surpringly not as emotional as I thought I would be. I think it's because I was so exhausted from the weeks of sleep deprivation. She fell asleep after 16 minutes of crying! We were shook! We are also slowly trying to night wean and are following the 5/3/3 rule. She woke up twice before 5 hours that night. The first time she only cried for 5 minutes. The second time she cried for 19 minutes, and I think it's because she was woken up by my husband, as he made a very loud noise in the bathroom. I was pissed. But it happens. Then she woke up at 2.00am. I made sure to turn on the light on the hatch and keep her pretty awake while she ate. I set her back down while she was awake and she didn't cry!!! Usually I'd have to walk around the room for 10 minutes to make sure she would stay asleep or else she'd cry and I had to nurse again. Then she woke up at 6 to eat again and went back down until 7:30 (hatch alarm for all of us).

Tuesday: she cried for 15 minutes. She woke up once before the 5 hour mark and cried for 11 minutes before going back to sleep. Got up to eat at 3.30 and 7.00

Wednesday: cried 15 minutes. I think it would've been shorter, but I forgot to change her diaper this day and had my husband go in right 5 minutes after putting her down. Only woke up at 2 and 6 to eat.

Thursday: cried 5 minutes. Only woke up at 2 and 6 to eat.

Friday: cried 6 minutes. I think she might have been teething this day because she ate very little throughout the day. So I decided I would feed her before 5 hours if she woke up. She woke up at 11, 2:30, and 6:00.

Saturday: This night was bad. She cried for 20 minutes but the cries were super sad and it didn't feel right. I decided to go ahead and get her. I brought her to the living room and cuddled and talked to her a bit. My theory is that she wasn't tired enough. After 15 minutes we read to her again and after we put her down she didn't cry at all. She woke up once to eat at 3.

Sunday: she cried for 6 minutes. Woke up once before 5 hours. She cried for 5 minutes. Woke up once at 4.00 am to eat

Tonight she only cried one minute. We'll see how many times she wakes up.

I have a few questions! Will she eventually not cry at all when I put her down for the nap? Isn't the considered a success? Or is like one minute ok? I'm going to post a separate thread about my question for nap schedule because that's a whole other struggle I'm having lol.
