Hey all, I have a 9 month old, slept through the night pretty early on and did well until about two months ago when he started going to sleep later and later. Now he’ll wake up every 1.5-2 hours and will only go back to sleep if I’m the boob or my husband bounces him for an hour or so.
One bedroom apartment with thin walls so cry it out is out for us because we sleep here and because it will literally wake the neighbor up.
No teeth yet, nothing looks like it’s coming so I don’t this that is the issue. We’ve basically ended up with intermittent co-sleeping since he’ll usually start to cry within a minute of laying him down after he falls asleep on the boob.
He also hardly sleeps during the day anymore, honestly this kid probably only gets between 8-10 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period, usually on the shorter side. He will take mini cat naps and wake up wide open. We try to keep him up later in the day so he’ll be sleepy at night but it seems useless.
I’m tired. Please help.
