Breaking nap rules on vacation
Post Body

We are on a weeklong vacation with our nine month old. He's adjusting to a 2 hour westward time change and doing okay; he has always been an indifferent napper, but for the last couple of months has been pretty good with two decent naps per day in his crib. Until 5 months or so he often wanted to be held for every nap, and he still needs to be briefly rocked to sleep for naps (no problematic sleep associations at night luckily.)

He keeps falling asleep in his stroller as we try to walk back to our AirBnB for naps here. It's getting tempting to just embrace that and stay out and about and sight see while he naps for his second nap each day. If we do that, will we ruin nap sleep? Will he need it for both naps? Will we need to break him of it when we get home? I'm wondering if the convenience and pleasure now are worth the gamble.
