Environment - pitch dark room: yes or no
Post Body

Hello! We are doing the CIO method with our five month old. Her nursery has blackout curtains, but due to them being the roll-up kind, they stick out from the wall and light will leak around them at the top. I originally got them to block the light from streetlights, which they do very well. But during the months that it's still light out at 7, she has been going to sleep in a somewhat dimly lit room and then waking up to a completely dark room. Has anyone noticed that having your little one wake up in a differently lit room affected/ruined the sleep training? I haven't had time this week to put up additional curtains, but we continue to sleep train. I was just wondering if this may be hindering our progress... although it does not seem to be. Thanks!
