Help! Last nap refusal

Post Body

4MO absolutely flat out rejected her last nap of the day and now I have no idea what to do. Normally she would have a 2h wake window and nap from 4.30-5.00, then a 2.25 hour wake window and go to bed 7.15

The 4.30 nap was vehemently rejected, it’s now 5.30, what do I do? Bring her bedtime forward an hour and hope that a 3.5 hour wake window doesn’t ruin her?

Baby calms down as soon as we do anything other than try to get her to nap. The rest of the day was smooth sailing.

UPDATE: thank you all so much for the advice! We powered through and ended up putting baby to bed an hour earlier than normal at 6:30. She had a bit of a meltdown, but then slept until 6:30am with just two wakes to feed. We might move toward a 3-nap, 6:30 bed time schedule from now on.

That's exactly what we did last night and it worked well.
