Is the Watcher Divinity archetype a trap?

Somewhat of a noob...
My guess would be yes, but If not, how do you usually get pulled into it? Most of the necessary cards are worthless rectangles until you get a sufficient number to trigger Divinity.
Edit: I'm not talking about whether or not Blasphemy is a good card in a vacuum. I'm asking whether it's worth accumulating a critical mass of (or enough to hit Divinity reliably) cards that give you mantra.
