DRX595 Sky+ and HDCP

I've got a the above box and bought a new cable, but got an HDCP error. I suspect its because it was a cheap cable from amazon.
My question is, what version of HDCP do these boxes run as the versions don't seem to be cross compatible and I don't want to be permanently returning cables?
