I finally figured it out. Took me hours of searching and trying all sorts of methods. No matter what I did, it was obvious the game or headset was purposely blurring the graphics, like watching a YouTube video on low bandwidth, especially around dense trees and foliage, even after disabling Dynamic Resolution in-game.
Turns out there are 3 different auto-resolution settings and you have to disable them all.
- Disable Dynamic Resolution in Skyrim Settings
- Disable Auto-Resolution in SteamVR>Settings
- Disable Auto-Resolution in the Oculus PC app under Devices>Oculus Quest 2
THIS DID IT, THIS FINALLY FIXED IT. The game still looks ugly af but it's not like watching a YouTube video anymore. Feels closer to the VorpX version now in terms of visuals
