Help me understand quick loot and precision pls.

So I read that PLANK makes precision pointless but i am not parrying everything, even when my weapon swing should connect with an opponents. Is precision necessary? I was under the impression that equipped weapons and shields in PLANK acted realistic with bounce back against walls and weapons.
Quickloot is cool but can I toggle it? It can be hard to use correctly sometimes and It makes picking people up hard.
