Introduction:

I recently posted about increasing the population of Skyrim with a modlist featured HERE. Today I am going to provide a modlist that will turn both Whiterun and Solitude into the mega cities they were meant to be. Overall this mod list adds 170 buildings, 160 NPC's and 6 new districts to Whiterun and 75 buildings, 105 NPC's and 5 districts to Solitude.

If you add the population mods I cover in the previous post you will be able to add an additional 50 additional NPC's to each city and add a few hundred traveling NPC's to the roads of Skyrim. The end result is a vibrant Skyrim full of life, especially for 2 of it's major holds. It will be common to enter Whiterun with 20 NPC's around the market and dozens spread around the other 2 internal districts. The Mason district and Cliffside are bustling with activity as NPC's perform daily activities around Whiterun. Solitude's docks are heavily trafficked with trading coming from all corners of Skyrim. This is the way Skyrim is meant to be played.

I run Ryzen 7 8 Cores with 32GB RAM and a 2080 Super. All stats are at 1440p with Elysium. 40-50 FPS on roads. Interiors 40 FPS. Whiterun Exterior 30 FPS. Large battles (30 NPC's) 30 FPS. Elysium comes with 1600 mods including dozens of texture packs, lighting enhancements, fixes, QOL enhancements, and more. You can use Wabbajack to install and MO2 to manage. 250GB of mods and takes a few hours to install. I run Skyrim SE with Anniversary update. It is required for Elysium.
