Post Body

Greetings.

What are people’s thoughts on The Elder Scrolls Mods Wiki?

I was a contributor there for a time and added all I could on The Gray Call of Nocturnal mod. Left for a year or two, and recently come back. I saw the wiki as a good place for walkthroughs for quest related mods, which do not have their own wikis, like Undead, Falskaar, Wyrmstooth etc. Back when I was active, we thought the problem was that mod authors did not want to follow the standard style of the wiki, and when any one of us would correct the pages, they would get angry. I can’t say the ones handling the wiki were 100% correct, we too had flaws. As of now, the wiki is pretty much dead. It is in quite a disarray and does not even have a proper structure to handle mods from Oldrim and SSE. I don’t know to code so that’s not something I can correct myself. I still see few people who maintain pages of their mods. u/Khobis has been working great to complete a guide on Project AHO, another mod author Anaarim working on his mod etc..

So, back to the title, what are people’s thoughts on The Elder Scrolls Mods Wiki? Do people of this sub know it exists? Has it ever helped you?

PS: I’m not sure if such discussions are allowed here. If not, Mods, delete away.
