Just finished my SRLE install and started up a new game. For some reason, it I can sneak right up next to people. This is a new game and my sneak rating is only 24. I'm sure something is wrong with my install or mods, but I have no idea what it might be or how to fix it.

Anyone have suggestions for how I might be able to debug this? My issue really is that I don't even know what controls this in game. If I knew where to start, I'd probably make better progress.

So far, I've tried:

• Disabling mods that have anything to do with stealing. This didn't change anything.
• Adjusting the crime radius for the bashed patch using TESVEdit

I could start over and do SRLE all over again, but I really want to understand what I screwed up. Else, I'm worried I'll make the same mistake again. :-/
