Choosing an overhaul?

I am relatively new to skyrim modding and have just been sticking to enb's and other graphics mods, im getting pretty bored of vanilla gameplay now and would like to overhaul. I've read about mods like PerMa and Skyre and Requiem but I'd like to know more about them and if there are any others I should consider?
