My mom finally agreed to do a playthrough of skyrim with me, so I'm looking for vanilla+ mods to enhance the experience

Post Body

As the title says, I recently had a talk with my mom and had convinced her to try out some video games with me ( she never really played anything before, but she is a big fan of fantasy genre when it comes to literature and movies ).

I decided that starting with skyrim would be a good idea, since it was the first RPG that I played myself. But I want to make a small, lightweight vanilla plus modlist for our upcoming playthrough. Something that would preserve the original feel of the game, but also enhance its general visuals, add quality of life features, perhaps some small additions that add more life into the world/expand on existing features.

I already have a couple ideas, but I figured I'd ask here as well, just in case someone here can recommend something I haven't heard of before/ haven't thought about. I'm looking for textures (2-1k quality is more than enough ), a simple lighting overhaul, a simple npc overhaul that keeps their looks as close to vanilla as possible, lightweight grass/tree overhaul, lightweight weather overhaul that keeps it close to vanilla.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated as well ( it can be anything at all if you think it will fit into vanilla plus modlist ), I'm not really looking to add any new quests/content into the game, but if you know about mods that expand vanilla ones, then I'm also all ears. Thanks in advance for any suggestions/help with this, I'm just really exited to share one of my favorite games ever with my mom!

P.S. sorry if I made any mistakes, English isn't my first language

Mysticism is a great mod to enhance magic since it’s boring in vanilla. SimonRim as a whole is great for V but might be a little too different for a first playthrough, but Mysticism basically could’ve been vanilla.
