What if when you attack and/or kill an NPC that is attacking another NPC, there's some chance that the NPC will increase their regard for you? Perhaps also the amount of regard could be based on various factors, such as the difference in levels of the two NPCs, or whether or not the victim was in a flee state. If they then say lines like "(patron god) bless you!", it could also indicate their appreciation for the act, as well as indicating to you that their regard has been affected (perhaps even with different lines for the amount of regard). I can imagine that this will be great alongside any mechanics that rely on regard as part of their function. Any thoughts on this?
Seems like something JaySerpa would make.
