Custom skills mod help

hey guys i downloaded the custom skills mod and all other required files through nexus mod manager. even thought it says is all installed and all the rest of my mods are working the custom mod that i downloaded witch is https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/46453?tab=files or hand to hand custom skill doesnt work. im using Skyrim special edition and idk if its compatability or what. if i need to just download the base game i do have it. please let me know guys.
