Is there any point to being a normal vampire?

So normally if I wanna play as a vampire I go do the dawnguard quests if I get infected with it before that I just pop a potion I don’t quite like the weakness to sun and getting attacked all the time by npcs. This play through tho I’m not planning on doing the DG quests or at least not until way later so are there any reasons to stay as a normal vampire?
