Buy back glitch

So I know of the buy back glitch. The one where you are somehow able to convince a vendor to buy their own stuff and give you the money. Is there a way to do it with a controller? As I'm on Xbox Series X on Skyrim SE and I was wondering if its possible on console. If not, can I plug a keyboard and mouse into my xbox and it work with skyrim?
