Cannot complete two quests? (Xbox)

Misc quests:
Report Leifnarr's death. The mom doesn't say anything at all regarding leifnarr, so i can't report he's dead.
Find Red Eagle's Sword. I accidently for shits and giggles put it back in the pedastle, and now the quest wont go away, even though i have the sword.
