Been using this trick in whiterun for years just found out it works in every other city to 😋
Step one: find where the steward sleeps Step two: have the gold required Step three: ask him to purchase the house and say yes you want it Step four: exit conversation quickly and deposit all of your gold into a container that must be opened to access They will give you the key then open the container and take your gold 😋
