This may be long, but I divided in 3 sections, so you may skip I (what happened) and III (the mods I tried using) and just read II.

I. My short story:

I've been hearing about The Elder Scrolls series and specially Skyrim for many years, yet I never gave it a try. Not because it didn't interest me, but because I was afraid my PC wouldn't run it.

I recently got a better PC and Skyrim Special Edition and decided to play for the first time using 20 mods. I read the beginners guide and saw some videos, as impatient as I am, and this is what I did (You can skip to "II. Help me", as the important questions are there):

1. I downloaded and installed SSE;
2. I manually added the Script Extender in Skyrim folder;
3. I installed Mod Organizer 2 and LOOT as my mods managers and downloaded a few through Nexus using the Vortex option, directly into my MO2, in a mod folder in C: (Skyrim is also in C:);
4. I installed and I ran LOOT, in order to organize the load order;
5. I played the opening until the MC was able to find a way out of the dungeon, and I was able to get only 1 mod working: The world map one.
6. Some mods, as Inigo, weren't even recognized by MO2, as it was flagged as being another game mod;
7. Some mods were in conflict (Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization and SoK - The Wilds);
8. Some others were flagged, yet I couldn't see the issue;
9. I kept hearing Vilja's voice lines when I was running away with the imperial guy;

There are so many versions of Skyrim and the Nexus' mods don't specify if they are for LE, SSE, Classic or VR, so I may have downloaded wrong mods.

LOOT displayed 2 error messages, as RaceMenu didn't work, apparently because my SSE wasn't updated. Which is strange...

II. Help me!

I'm frustrated and confused... Do I really have to spend even more time reading about modding in order to enjoy the game? I spent hours reading and watching and it wasn't enough.

I know I'm too impatient, but I just wanted a few simple videos that I could watch that would hold my hand, guiding me step by step, so that I could play with my 20 mods without any problems for the 1st time.

After finishing the game once I would be familiarized with the game and the mods and then I could try using more difficult mods to install. I don't want to have a PhD in modding so that I can play Skyrim (at least not yet). I modded other games in the past and it was so easy. (Civ5, KOTOR 1 and 2, The Witcher, et al.) All I needed was about 1 hour of reading for each of them and I had no issues.
