Can you case a magelight on yourself?

I have the climates of tamirel mod which mades night near impossible to see I know I can tag a magelight on my follower etc and NPCs but if there a way to cast one on yourself? As this would be a very risk by effective light soruce instead of a torch. If this is possible I could use a two handed weapon and have a 60 second light above me. But the downside is I will be detected very quickly

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I have played skyrim a lot as a archer never a mage now I am trying a mage/archer character.
