Constant crashes/freeze randomly but can still hear music/sounds

I have reinstalled skyrim and have installed the same mods but now I am constantly getting crashes where the frame rate dropps to 1 then freezes but I can still hear voices, sounds and music. This never happened when I used the same mods and I have played over 300 hours using those mods.
