So I tried doing the diplomatic immunity and go in to the party.

When I tried to talk to elf guy, it says he was busy. I instead went straight to talk to the drunk guy and was able to give him a drink. I asked him to cause a distraction and he did, so I talk to elfguy and we start walking out the door behind the bar, when he stops. He doesnt want to talk to me and the kahjit cook says her "Get out before I change my mind dialouge." By this point the quest markers for finding the information and talking my items are up.

I take my stuff, but the quest marker is still there. I cant draw my weapons or sneak or shout so I run past the thalmor guards, and turn on god mode and turn of AIdetection. I get to the other building and go down in to the basement, find all the books and stuff. The torture chamber key is in the same chest as the Delphine and Ulfric books.

I continue and take the esbern book, but the quest doesnt update and all I have left is an optional quest marker to take my stuff. I cant sneak or draw my weapons and using the "setstage" command does nothing and I dont know what to do here!

please help
