So after my first time playing skyrim after its original release being only around 6/7 and now coming back to the game at 21 i have started to look at the game differently. Obviously back then skyrim to us was an amazing game and it still is dont get me wrong but now that i have grew up and started looking at it differently theres a lot of things they could of done better. And the one thing i want to talk about is the dark brotherhood quest line (more to the end of the quest line). Without mods once you have finished the main quest line it just becomes repetitive, you go to the dawnstar sanctuary, speak with the night mother, go to an unnamed random generated npc, go to where you have to go and kill the other random generic npc and repeat. They could have done so much more with it you become a leader of a group of assassins and yet it makes you feel like you’re still an apprentice. The quests are endless it’s not like you can recruit more people (apart from certain followers i believe ) and send them off to do assassinations. The only thing that makes you feel like a true leader is building up the dawnstar sanctuary (if you can even call that a leadership role). Thinking of it now theres a lot of quests like this for people on console mainly playstation who don’t have access to the mods pc and xbox players have theres not much we can do for this stuff.
