Okay, so I've tried googling and searching solstheim walk-throughs to get an idea of what I need before heading to Solstheim, but I'm having a hard time finding tips.
I am very new to Skyrim. I've been playing for about a month and a half. I am currently playing on the Switch, so mod suggestions aren't currently helpful (although, once I get my PC back up an running, I'm going to play on there as well, so if you have mod suggestions, I can file those away for later!)
My current player is a level 22 Dark Elf Stealth Archer, light armor, and decent with one-handed weapons when needed. The only magic I really use is clairvoyance, calm, or Fenrik's welcome.
I have completed the Civil War (Imperials), the Seducers vs Saints, and the Companions (no longer a werewolf, but I am open to becoming a werewolf again if it helps with this quest line).
So... would now be a good time for me to attempt the Dragonborne quest line? I know enemies are leveled for the player level.
I have a handful of ebony arrows, dragonplate arrows, and lots of dark arrows/golden arrows, so I'm not too worried about my arrow supply. I am currently wearing Leather Scout armor as my main with some elven armor pieces and various enchanted light armor pieces to swap out when needed.
All recommendations welcome. Specifically looking for recommendations for: - light armor that might be better - essential spells to know - dragon shouts (I have a few and 7 souls that I can use to unlock some shouts) - recommended follower (current follower is Aranea Ienith) - anything else that yall think would be essential before going in!
I previously tried this questline with a different character and got stuck because I didn't have enough dragon souls and was really low level and the dude kept stealing my dragon souls after I gave up halfway through.
Thanks so much in advance! Looking forward to conversations in the comments!
Edit: fixed a small typo
