Alduin Bug?

I just ran into an issue I've never had before, I'm at the first battle with Alduin on the throat of the world and I use dragonrend and he lands, which I know is the way to beat him I've done it before... But he won't take damage. Ive tried all kinds of weapons and spells and he will not take any damage. I hit my follower and paarthurnax and they both took damage but he wont. Idk what's happening. Has anyone else ran into this and who knows how to fix it. Also I tried reloading saves. Didn't help.
