Poke holes in this if you want, but my "almost head cannon" is that the reason Valk can see souls because as she can manipulate souls she is suppose to quote on quote eat them so she gains that persons power and understanding of that power rather then temporarily getting it . This is how in my head cannon faceless ones are formed they quote on quote eat everyone's souls to gain their ridiculous power and Valk has not done this/will not do this. Thought?
