Instead of potentially traumatizing a LITERAL CHILD, why didn't Skulduggery bring a Dimensional Shunter to Aranmore Farm?

If a Teleporter could've opened that gate, a Shunter certainly could've. And as for time, it's a matter of Shunting out into a pocket dimension (which I've seen no evidence of them NOT being able to make) or one of the dimensions that were considered for Roarhaven 2.0, then shunting back in by the farm. One of them could've also helped Val get Skul back instead of making her wait a literal year to get him back.
