Right, so from the previous books, we know that Valkyrie is a child of the faceless. Why was it hardly mentioned in Seasons of War? She mentioned it maybe once or twice, when the aristocrats on the bus asked her about religion, and she gave the answer about her not being here if it wasn’t for the faceless ones. And then another time before that scene, but really vaguely. I thought it was going to be major for the next book. I knew that it wouldn’t happen suddenly as Alice was older in the vision, but I thought maybe Seasons of War would start building on it as we’ve only got 2 books left.
