I recently changed my legal name so I contacted Skrill to update that information in my account. They asked for my old ID (good thing that I kept it just in case this would happen!), the new ID, and I sent any other documentation that I had; the name change request and the resulting birth certificate. There are literally no other documents other than that, at least in Argentina. There is no "hey we changed your name from X to Z!" notice, which is what I understood they wanted. However, the name change request actually mentions the new name and the old name so I thought that should have been valid enough. I am frustrated because I need everything to be updated according to my new name. Otherwise logically it won't be really my account and I won't be able to link it or receive funds from other platforms unless the name coincides. I wonder if I could close my current account and make a new one with my new name, verify it all over again... Ugh
