Post Body

I’ve got a 4 window shortie that has been stripped and has some vinyl flooring in. Basically a blank canvas. I’m headed back to Oregon from California at the first of the year and I need to accomplish a few things on a budget to get my by for a while. I’ve got about 1,000-1,500 but I’d rather keep it under a grand.

  1. Power. I need a simple and cheap power set up to run lights, heat, and to charge devices. A mini fridge would be nice but not priority and I’m on a budget. This is the part I need the most advice with. Thinking about charging some extra batteries off my alternator but mines probably kind of week and idk if that’s realistic.

  2. Heat. Looking at running a Chinese diesel heater. What do these things need as far as power? All of the install videos I’ve seen just talk about tapping into your gas and drilling the hole for exhaust. What kind should I get and what’s the complete list of things I need to run it? I don’t really want to tap into my gas tank so I’ll be using an external tank.

  3. Kitchen. I don’t think I really need much help with this but open to suggestions, tips, and tricks.
