Fried batteries
Post Body

Edit: only one battery was roast and it was the new one covered by warranty. Now I just need to find this short. Still not sure if I wrecked it, the draw did, or if I just got a bad battery.

I have two optima red top batteries in my shortie. I can let the bus sit overnight and it turns over fine in the morning. Left town for four days and came back to dead batteries. Tried jumping, didn’t work. Took them to autozone to get charged. Apparently one isn’t holding a charge. Not sure about the other one.

The previous owner mentioned there might be a short somewhere and he thinks that’s why it’s getting drained. I found that he had left the ac unit on and assumed that was the issue, but alas, it’s not.

Did I wreck my batteries trying to jump start from a vehicle? What’s the best way to find this short? Really can’t afford 500 in new batteries. Please halp.
