Okay so after hearing about Skins for a few years I decided to give it a shot. I'm totally not in the demographic (being in my 40s) but good TV is good TV. Plus, I've been a teen. No, I didn't go to wild parties or have such crazy friend groups, but I can relate to several of the characters nonetheless and I really love the show. It's captivating. Binge-worthy. Great TV.

I decided to go through the entire series from beginning to end. I LOVED the first generation. Didn't know what to expect from the second, but I found myself really attached to some of the characters and found it quite a moving generation. Now I'm in the third. I'd read a lot of criticism: people complaining that the third is the worst - a watered down Skins. So far, I enjoy it. It does seem to rehash some of the stories/ situations of the first two generations, but as usual, the characters are likeable and I'm still addicted - although it feels a bit slower than the other two

So I would say my faves so far are Gen 1, then Gen 2 and so far Gen 3 but I can't say, until Gen 3 is over. It's a good one. So what are yours and in what order and why?
