Any Crane Operators here, I recently signed up for the Information session for a crane operator next week. I am interested in pursuing a Towercrane at the moment and time being maybe I may work my way to Mobile down the road. I was curious to know how it all goes about after the session I write an aptitude test and get in? Do I have to wait for a call for the Union to hire me off the board how does it all work. I heard the way the industry is going they cannot get operators to come on so it is definitely something I am interested in. Any advice would be very much appreciated thanks folks!.
