Realistic opening day for Northstar/Heavenly?
Post Body

Looking at the webcam for Northstar they've got effectively zero snow at lodge level (the base of most of their lifts), and they've been able to make snow at that level all of one night total so far that I've seen. I can't find any webcams for Heavenly on the CA side that show where they are attempting to make snow, but based on their temps I assume it is similar. With no snow on the forecast for the next 10 days, and lows that look good for snow making in that time range (but the closer they get in time, the closer they tend to get to ~32), when do we realistically think any of these resorts can open? It seems like they'd need at least a solid week of all night snow making to get things covered to a level that is skiiable?
